On Friday, September 02, 2022, officers of the Security Office of the Central Port Authority of Kavala proceeded to arrest five (5) foreigners for violating articles 83 of Law 3386/2005 and 216 of the Civil Code (illegal entry and forgery). Specifically, in a control carried out before the departure of the E/G-O/G ship within the passenger port of Kavala, the above were found to be in possession of fake identity cards, while they did not possess any other legal travel documents. The forged documents were confiscated from the Central Port Authority of Kavala, which conducts the preliminary investigation.

A foreign smuggler was arrested at noon on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, on the Egnatia Road Kavala – Thessaloniki, by police officers of the Kavala Immigration Management Department, who was transporting illegal immigrants into the country.
