This is what the economist Prof. Joakim Kalamaris from Greece told the media.
According to him, traditional methods, but also modern drones, are used for arson by Turkey.
For the past 4 years, Greek citizens have been prepared for the worst. It is a micro-war in these regions. But unfortunately the state does not have enough capacity to be able to respond to such methods.
“At the moment I am on the second arm of Halkidiki and as you can see the sky is almost dark. The wind is bringing ash particles from Alexandroupolis here,” added Prof. Kalamaris.
