Vasilios Melandinidis, born May 23, 1951 in Kavala, Greece, entered into rest on September 09, 2022 in Buffalo, NY, USA.
Beloved husband of 43 years to Linda (nee Docherty) Melandinidis; devoted father of Rozana (Omoniyi Michael) Ayanbadejo and Genevieve (Eric) Dolney; adored Papou of Michael and Everett; dear brother of Rozana (Pafsanias) Galanis of Thessaloniki, Greece and the late Ioannis (Vicki) Melandinidis; also survived by other loving relatives and friends in the US and in Greece.
Vasilios had a passion for family, friends, cooking and entertaining. He was the chef and owner of Yianni’s Restaurant on Delaware Avenue in Buffalo, NY for many years.
Relatives and friends may visit Perna, Dengler, Roberts Funeral Home, located at 1671 Maple Road, Williamsville, NY 14221, on Thursday, September 15, 2022, between the hours of 04:00 and 07:00 p.m., where Trisagion Prayers will be offered at 05:00 p.m.
The funeral service will be private.
