The award-winning composer, musician and UNESCO Artist For Peace, Theodosii Spassov, one of the most popular Bulgarian musicians and cabal virtuoso is coming in August to the Cosmopolis festival in Kavala.

The kaval, a wooden “shepherd” flute with eight holes, is one of the oldest musical instruments in Europe, rich in sound and technical possibilities.

Theodosii Spassov has developed his own unique playing style combining traditional folklore with jazz, fusion and classical music.

Artist, musician and composer, Spassov together with the No Keys Trio, Alexander Lekov’s on bass and Nacho Gospodinov on drums, will present a set of eight pieces of music.

Over the past 20 years, Theodosii has toured throughout Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Australia, Canada and the United States.

The event will take place on Monday, August 28, 2023, at 21:00, at the Liberty Square in Kavala.
