In collaboration with the hotel associations of the two destinations, the Kavala Chamber of Commerce and Fraport Greece, Marketing Greece recently launched the new “Tourism Partnership for Kavala-Thassos.”
Marketing Greece is a private tourism marketing firm, founded in 2013 by the Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE), the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels, and the Hellenic Association of Communications Agencies (EDEE).
The company is now collaborating with local hoteliers and trade associations to promote Kavala and Thasos tourism products and create multiple benefits for the destinations by maximizing the results of coordinated activities and synergies.
“Our main goal is to create a common ground for activities with many partners because we believe that success is a collective achievement,” said Marketing Greece CEO Ioanna Dretta in a statement.
“This new tourism collaboration is a significant initiative that will provide new dynamics to the destinations,” she added.
The “Tourism Partnership for Kavala-Thassos” was unveiled at a special event held at Kavala’s Lucy Hotel. The program will use cutting-edge destination marketing tools to create photographic content and travel videos, that will be distributed via social media and featured on DiscoverGreece.com in English, German, and Greek.
Furthermore, with the help of a digital influencer, a digital campaign will promote the experiences available in the destinations.
Marketing Greece will also run a promotional campaign on DiscoverGreece.com and organize press and travel blogger fam trips.
The goal of the program, according to Thassos Hotel Association President Paris Paraschoudis, is to raise awareness about the destinations, create a positive image of Thassos and Kavala, and reduce seasonality by further developing the tourism product and attracting quality tourism.
