Chess Grandmaster Ziaur Rahman of Bangladesh earned his 2nd consecutive victory in the 32nd Open International Chess Category A Tournament of Kavala 2023, beating Kosmidis Loannis of the hosts Greece in the 3rd round match, held in Kavala, Greece on Saturday.

Bangladeshi FIDE Master and son of Grandmaster Ziaur Rahman, Tahsin Tajwar Zia, drew with Poupalos Nikoloas of Greece in the other 3rd round match on Saturday.

After the 3rd round matches, Zia earned 2 points while Tahsin Tajwar Zia bagged 1.5 points.
