The fire, that broke out after 06:00 p.m. in a forest area in the Exohi area of the municipality of Pangaio, Kavala, was immediately brought under control.
Eleven (11) firefighters with four (4) vehicles are operating at the scene.
Earlier, two (2) aircraft also participated in extinguishing the fire.
