The wildfire that broke out earlier on Monday in Dialechto, Kavala, northern Greece, injured 2 (two) firefighters and damaged a fire engine.
According to reports, one of the firefighters has burns on his face and the other on his hands. They have both been taken to the hospital.
Dialechto locals had received a notice on 112 to escape their village and head south towards the old national route.
The Fire Brigade reports that 12 (twelve) firefighters, 6 (six) fire engines, and 1 (one) firefighting aircraft are on the scene.
