According to the weekly report of the ΕΟΔΥ recording the cases of the disease from the new coronavirus, a total of 122,230 cases of CoViD-19 (11,716 per million population: -11% weekly change), have been recorded for the week of July 25-31, 2022. Re-infections concern 20% of infections. The total number of infections since the beginning of the pandemic amounts to 4,474,616 of which 51.8% are women.

The total number of hospital admissions in the week of July 25-31 was 2,558 patients, while the total number of discharges amounted to 2,219 patients.

The number of intubated patients by the end of the reference week is 138 (65.2% men) with a median age of 69 years and 92.8% having an underlying disease and/or age of 70 years or older.

In the reporting week, there were 355 deaths of CoViD-19 patients (34 per million population: 21% weekly change), while since the start of the epidemic a total of 31,377 deaths have been recorded, with 95.8% having underlying diseases and/or age 70 and above.
